The University of Southern Florida is located in Tampa, Florida, along Florida's magnificent coastline. Featuring thirteen colleges- Arts & Sciences, Behavioral & Community Sciences, Business, Education, Engineering, Global Sustainability, Marine Science, Medicine, Nursing, Honors, Pharmacy, Public Health, the Arts, and the University College- the University is home to more than 30,000 undergraduate and graduate students. University of South Florida's College of Engineering offers a master's of science degree in electrical engineering. This degree requires two years of full-time commited study, and will include either participation in a graduate research project under the advisement of a faculty member or completion of an individual research dissertation. Students also have to complete thirty credit hours that will explore each of the major concentration areas to some degree, and students who choose to specialize in one of these areas will take extra classes in that area.
