Overview
University Canada West offers students an exciting approach to earning a university degree. With creative options like Finish Faster degrees, which allow students to complete bachelor degrees in less than two years, and market-relevant curriculum, the school allows students to quickly complete degrees which are highly relevant to their chosen career fields. No matter what the degree, all students complete fifteen identical Foundation courses and the same five Capstone courses before graduation. University of Canada West offers programs to students online and at campuses in both Vancouver and Victoria.
Student Appeal
A unique feature of University Canada West is the academic year, which is broken into four 10-week terms. This allows students to take more courses each year than they normally could under the traditional 4-month semester system. As a result, students can finished a standard degree in only two years. Students can also enjoy accelerated programs and flexible schedules which allow them to customize their education. A number of unit transfer options are available to help students earn their degrees more efficiently.

In this program, students take courses on a wide variety of subjects including writing, mass media, journalism, advertising, public relations and communications, and design technology. Students have discussions about both the theoretical and practical skills in media. This degree prepares students to assume a wide variety of roles upon graduation.

The Bachelor of Commerce degree provides students with a variety of business and management skills. The core areas include Tourism Management, Strategic Leadership, International Business, and E-Business. It is common for graduates of this program to pursue post-graduate studies in law schools and MBA programs.
- Master of Business Administration Master of Business Administration
Students who already possess a non-business degree can complete this MBA in two years. A combination of short residencies and online coursework prepare students to assume managerial roles, as well as a number of other business related roles, upon graduation. Students who apply to this program should already have some work experience. An accelerated, one-year MBA program is also available for students who possess a business related undergraduate degree.
