Originally founded in north Houston in 1983 as a private secretarial school, Texas School of Business has grown into a student-friendly environment that offers affordable, career-focused associate degree and diploma programs in professional fields such as computer technology, criminal justice, and health care. With campuses in Friendswood and throughout Houston (East, North, and Southwest), through lessons delivered by experienced, professional instructors in an updated facility, Texas School of Business provides an opportunity for students to acquire the knowledge, skills, and work habits they need to excel in the workforce.

- Dental Assistant - DiplomaDental Assistant - Diploma
In this program intended for the benefits of those desiring a career in the dental assistance field, students develop the necessary technical, management, and communication skills from chair-side assistance, dental emergency procedures, dental radiology, preventive dentistry to record systems and ethics. Graduates will be ready to take the required radiology certification exams.
- Medical Assistant - DiplomaMedical Assistant - Diploma
The courses of this curriculum are designed to train prospective medical assistants in the handling of both administrative and clinical responsibilities to deliver efficient and cost-effective health care. The program emphasizes professionalism, client relations, critical thinking, adherence to the ethical and legal requirements of a medical practice, as well as communications skills. Also, students acquire knowledge in anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology, while developing skills in routine lab procedures such as obtaining blood samples. The coursework prepare graduates for the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) exam sponsored by the American Association of Medical Assistants, and the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) exams sponsored by the American Medical Technologists.

*Additional academy training may be require for law enforcement positions. Applicants to the Criminal Justice program in the state of Texas will require additional training approved by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officers Standards and Education (TCLEOSE) upon graduation in order to seek the following positions: police officer, peace officer, sheriff deputy, bailiff, and jailer.
