Southwest Florida College

Overview
Founded in 1974, Southwest Florida College provides career education in a flexible learning environment to students interested in earning a diploma, certificate, associate degree, or bachelor degree in healthcare, business, education, information technology, paralegal studies, graphic design, and criminal justice. Two campus locations are conveniently located in Tampa and Fort Myers.

Student Appeal
Faculty and staff work to help students plan their academic futures and achieve career success. Students can choose from day, evening, or weekend class schedules to accommodate busy work schedules. All students must participate in a personal interview to develop an active academic plan. Free tutoring and academic resources are available at the Academic Success Center. Graduates are well-prepared for immediate entry into their career of choice. Lifetime career placement assistance is available to all students and graduates of Southwest Florida College. Students can earn a degree in as little as 18 months or earn a diploma in as 12 months.

Financial
Financial aid is available to those students who qualify and includes federal loans, grants, and work-study. A variety of scholarships are also available on the basis of need and merit. All financial aid questions can be answered by an enrollment representative. Southwest Florida College is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS).
