Overview
Originally founded in 1932 by H.A.B. Shapiro as the New Hampshire School of Accounting and Secretarial Science, Southern New Hampshire University now extends its reach worldwide through its Internet-based distance learning program known as SNHU Online, launched in 1995. Among the leading online-learning programs in New England, SNHU Online offers more than 50 accredited online degree and certificate programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels, with focused emphasis on business and management. Student Appeal
Students receive the same top-quality education found in SNHU's on-campus program, but with the flexibility of distance learning that accommodate their busy lifestyle. Financial
Many of SNHU students receive some form of financial aid, which includes need-based grants, academic and commuter scholarships, work-study, and loans. Annually, students receive nearly $50 million in financial aid from private, state, institutional and federal sources.
