Student Appeal
Southern California Health Institute programs combine classroom instruction with practical hands-on training in a work simulated environment that prepares individuals for entry-level career opportunities in the healthcare and rehabilitation industry. The 5,000+ square-foot campus encompasses classroom and lab to offer up-to-date training. All massage, physical therapy aide- and chiropractic assistant-related equipment is located on the premises. Students are not required to purchase any equipment for the class. Massage therapy students are provided with massage table linens and towels. The programs can be completed in just 7 months for a quick transition to a new career.

Financial
Southern California Health Institute is approved by the U.S. Department of Education to participate in the Federal Student Financial Aid Programs, including Pell and other Federal Grants, student loans, and Federal Work Study programs.

Programs Offered:
  • Advanced Professional Massage TherapyAdvanced Professional Massage Therapy
    This 720-hour program features advanced training in massage therapy with an integrated approach to health and wellness. In addition to offering advanced study in massage theory and application, the courses provide career training in medical massage therapy, eastern massage, specialized massage, event rehabilitative massage, spa treatment modalities, therapeutic stretching and additional massage therapy modalities including lymph drainage, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy. Upon successful completion, students are eligible to sit for the national certification examination for massage therapy offered by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork.
  • Physical Therapy Aid/Sports RehabPhysical Therapy Aid/Sports Rehab
    Students of this 720-hour program receive training in physical agents in rehabilitation, anatomy, physiology, pathology, kinesiology, event rehabilitative sports massage, CPR and First Aid certification, professional ethics & hygiene, fundamentals of patient care, and professional development. Graduates are qualified for the California State Massage Therapist Certification and are eligible to sit for the national certification exam for massage therapy offered by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork.
