South University provides educational opportunities for a diverse population of students interested in future careers in arts, sciences, business, and healthcare. South University has ten locations throughout Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Virginia.

Students in the Associate of Science degree in Accounting program learn fundamental accounting methods and electronic applications that combine to promote versatility in accounting or bookkeeping offices.The associate's degree in Accounting program includes coursework which focuses on analyzing transactions, completing the accounting cycle, accounting systems, internal control and journals, accounting for assets and liabilities, accounting in different business structures and preparing financial documents.

This program helps students secure entry-level employment at a variety of businesses and organizations. Students take courses in accounting, finance, computer software, management, business concepts and more. This degree can be a stepping stone to the Bachelor's degree.
- AS in Criminal JusticeAS in Criminal Justice
The associate's degree in Criminal Justice program has courses which have been developed by professionals in the field to bring you real-world insight into police, corrections, court and security operations, and more. Whether you are already working in law enforcement or just beginning to enter the field, our associate's degree in Criminal Justice program provides students with a strong academic foundation for transfer into the Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice program.

The Associate's in Graphic Design is a two-year program. Students take courses on topics including illustration, graphic design, computer graphics, desktop publishing, photography and more.

This is a two-year program. Students take courses on topics including Database Design and Development, Client-Server 3-Tier Development, Web/Internet Software Development and more.
- AS in Medical AssistingAS in Medical Assisting
This degree trains students to be important members of the medical team. Students acquire both administrative and clinical skills and must complete a 200-hour externship.
- AS in Paralegal StudiesAS in Paralegal Studies
This two-year program prepares students to perform the majority of paralegal functions, including interviewing clients, preparing legal documents, organizing cases for trial and more.
- AS in Physical Therapist AssistantAS in Physical Therapist Assistant
Physical therapist assistants perform components of physical therapy procedures and related tasks selected by a supervising physical therapist. These workers assist physical therapists in providing services that help improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease. Patients include accident victims and individuals with disabling conditions such as lower-back pain, arthritis, heart disease, fractures, head injuries, and cerebral palsy.

This four-program allows students to work in a variety of industries upon graduation. Students study topics including psychological disorders, theoretical views, conformity, social perception, self esteem and more.
- BBA in Business AdministrationBBA in Business Administration
This is a four-year program. Students take courses to learn how to adapt business strategies to new market conditions, apply leadership skills, assess organizational needs and more.
- BS in Criminal JusticeBS in Criminal Justice
This four-year program allows students to choose one of five areas of emphasis: Juvenile Justice, Corrections, Law Enforcement, Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) and Cyber Crime. Coursework is practical and examines all the social, legal and technological challenges in the field.

This four-year program trains students in both traditional and computer-based techniques. Students take courses on topics including the theory and practice of print production, electronic publishing, advertising illustration, sales promotion and more.

The BS in Healthcare Management takes four years to complete. Students take courses on topics like the structure and function of health organizations, leadership in healthcare organizations, health ethics and law and more.

- BS in Legal StudiesBS in Legal Studies
Students who already have an Associate's in Paralegal Studies, or those who are currently pursuing an associate's degree in any major, may transfer into the Legal Studies bachelor's degree program. Those students with no prior paralegal education may enroll in the full BA program.

This degree prepares students to work in a variety of healthcare environments including acute care hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation facilities, and more.
- BSN in Nursing RN to BSNBSN in Nursing RN to BSN
This degree is intended for students who are already Registered Nurses and who already have an associate's degree or possess a diploma degree from an accredited school, and who want to earn a BA without having to leave their job. Programs are accelerated and comprehensive.

The 12 Month MBA is a unique graduate business program which allows students to earn an MBA degree in one year and as a complement to any existing bachelor's degree.

This program aims to prepare students to become professional counselors upon graduation, Students learn about advanced counseling methods and are able to apply for state licensure.

The MBA is a two-year program that offers students an excellent foundation in economics, decision-making, behavioral sciences, and strategic environment. An accelerated program is available at the Savannah campus.

This program is intended to provide students with a working knowledge of how public, private, and social forces impact the politics of health care. This is a two-year program, and students study topics contemporary business practices, modern healthcare systems and organization, policy development and planning techniques and more.

- MS in Criminal JusticeMS in Criminal Justice
The Master of Science Degree in Criminal Justice prepares students for management, administrative, research, and teaching positions. It is primarily designed to foster a learning community of criminal justice professionals who will use their knowledge within law enforcement, correctional, political, and legal arenas. Program graduates will also be prepared for admission to doctoral programs in criminal justice, criminology and other related fields as well as for promotions within existing law enforcement, correctional, local and state government, and legal institutions.
**Students must have a BS in Nursing to enroll in the Adult Health Nurse Practitioner.
