Overview
Located along the Eastern Seaboard in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Regent University is a private four year university that caters mostly to graduate students, though it has a small undergraduate population as well. The school technically identifies itself as Christian, but it is interdenominational and open to all students. The graduate degree offering schools within the University are the School of Communication & Arts, the School of Divinity, the School of Education, the School of Global Leadership & Entrepreneurship, the Robertson School of Government, the School of Law, and the School of Psychology & Counseling.

Student Appeal
Although the university does not have on-campus housing, students find that it is a dynamic place to attend school, particularly as it is located in a very large city in a beautiful area of the country. The relatively diverse student body features more out-of-state students than in-state students, and more graduate students than undergraduate students. The school particularly prides itself on its liberal arts graduate programs, ranging from cinema to religious studies to English literature. It also cites its Christian roots as having a strong influence in its community.
