Since 1987, Pennsylvania Institute of Health and Technology (PIHT) has provided students with career skills for today's workforce. The school's curriculum focuses on career training that combines classroom teaching and practical experiences. Many programs can be completed in a matter of months for those wishing to enter their career sooner.

Student Appeal
The smaller class sizes draw many students to the Pennsylvania Institute of Health and Technology in Mount Braddock, Pennsylvania. Upon completion of a chosen program, the school offers job placement services to help students make a smooth transition into the workforce. The school networks with area employers to provide graduates with local job opportunities.     Graduates of this program receive the skills needed to enter the Medical Assisting career. Administrative procedures and patient care are the main focus of the curriculum. Students receive classroom teaching and hands-on training in actual healthcare settings.
  • Medical Office AdministrationMedical Office Administration
    Students in this program are trained in healthcare matters that include billing and other office duties. Communication skills and computer abilities are explored as well as patient care. Graduates generally find jobs in the offices of insurance companies, doctors and other healthcare settings.

  • Practical Nursing
