Lincoln Culinary Institute offers specialized programs to educate and prepare students for careers in the culinary field. Courses are conducted by seasoned professionals with practical experience in the culinary field.

Student Appeal
Lincoln Culinary Institute strives to foster a hands-on teaching environment where students learn interactively through discussion, demonstration and direct contact with chef-instructors, administrators, restaurant owners, industry professionals and chefs and are prepared to enter the fast-paced food service industry upon graduation. Instructions take place in industry-standard kitchens of either brigade or European island style, with emphasis on classical cooking techniques and methods complemented by a modern twist. Students are advised on the best way to chart their personal career path upon enrollment.

Financial
The institution offers aid in creating a financial assistance plan to cover the cost of education, including books and tools, consisting of federal and state grants, loans, bank financing, payment plan, alternative funding, or a combination thereof.

Programs offered:
  • Baking and PastryBaking and Pastry
    This program offers a broad spectrum of baking and pastry theory and practical experiences necessary for success in the food service industry. The training, with extensive hands-on activities in professionally equipped culinary laboratories, features creation techniques for wedding cakes, mousses and creams, candy, Danish pastries, and croissants; development of desert menu; facility design; wine tasting; advanced piping skills; and history of baking.
  • Culinary ArtsCulinary Arts
    Guided individually by experienced, seasoned culinary professionals with industry experience, students learned the hands-on skills and secrets used in preparing the world's greatest cuisines, from French and Asian to Mediterranean and Latin American. The theories and practical experience gained within the culinary industry-standard laboratories will help make students' entry into the culinary field a delicious success.



Accreditation/Approvals:

The Lincoln Culinary Institute campuses in Connecticut and Maryland are accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). The Lincoln Culinary Institute in West Palm Beach, FL is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS).

The American Culinary Federation Education Foundation Accrediting Commission (ACFEFAC) accredits our Culinary Arts and Baking and Pastry programs at our Connecticut and Florida campuses.

Lincoln Culinary Institute's CT locations are approved by the State of Connecticut Department of Higher Education.

Certain Lincoln Culinary Institute campuses are approved by the Veterans Administration for the training of veterans. Please speak to your local admissions representative for more information.
