Overview
Founded in 1996, Culinary Academy of Long Island is a specialized career training institution with emphasis in baking, commercial cooking, pastry arts, and hotel management. Facilities are located in Syosset, New York and include industry-standard labs, software, and equipment.

Student Appeal
Students have the chance to directly apply classroom learning in the dining rooms, while their peers can enjoy full-service meals. Instructors are friendly and experienced professionals who are happy to share valuable insights and career advice along with providing career-oriented culinary education. Each program includes practical training and workplace-simulated learning to help students go directly from the classroom to a successful career. Grading is based on performance and demonstrated learning. Busy students benefit from flexible and convenient schedules to accommodate work, family, and other commitments. Programs may be completed in as few as nine months.

All students who qualify may receive financial aid through grants and loans from federal, institutional, and private sources. Culinary Academy of Long Island is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology.
