Overview
Since 1978, The Court Reporting Institute of Dallas (CRID) has provided training for students desiring a career in the court reporting industry. Specialized training is offered in the form of an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Court Reporting. CRID is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Independent Colleges and Schools, licensed by the Texas Workforce Commission and approved by the National Court Reporters Association.
Student Appeal
In addition to CRID's accreditations and licensing, admissions coordinators are available to help incoming students decide the ideal plan for completing the court reporting program. Coordinators help students explore the curricula and the school schedules while completing the admissions process as well. Online and onsite admissions processes are available. Students are required only to have a high school diploma or a GED to apply to the court reporting program.
