Overview
Founded in 1925, this public college offers associate's, bachelor's, and master's degrees, as well as vocational programs in the high desert area of Grand Junction, Colorado. Colorado Mesa is a comprehensive university, offering programs in business, social and behavioral sciences, humanities, natural science, and education. The school developed weekend, evening, distance learning, and online programs to serve the approximately 25% of its student body that is not enrolled as traditional full-time students. Several liberal studies and career-focused associate's and bachelor's degrees are now available online.
Student Appeal
Like most public universities, Colorado Mesa has fees and tuition costs that are considerably less than those at comparable private universities. CMU strives to provide quality online education, and it runs its online programs based on the concepts of quality course design, faculty readiness, student readiness, retention, student services, and assessment.

This accelerated program is aimed at students who have law enforcement, fire science, or other professional training, or a pertinent associate's degree. Graduates will understand public management, budgeting, and other aspects of administrating a public organization.

Students in this program can specialize in particular radiologic areas, such as CT, MR, or mammography. Core classes discuss patient care, the business of healthcare, and quality management.
