Overview
Founded in 1911, Chadron State College is a four-year university in northwest Nebraska. More than 2,5000 students are enrolled in the school as undergraduate and graduate students in subjects ranging from agriculture to Mathematics. Its student body comes from more than 30 states and 10 foreign countries. Chadron offers both a traditional campus experience as well as distance learning opportunities.
Student Appeal
Students have the option of participating in a wide variety of sports teams, academic societies and social clubs. Housing, an activity center, dining services and a health clinic are located on the expansive campus. Chadron State College was recognized by Military Times Edge magazine in 2011 as one of the best four-year colleges for veterans due to its affordability and acceptance of education benefits and military training for credit.

Chadron State College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
