Overview
Since 1881, Central Pennsylvania College has provided students with hands-on training and educational opportunities for a variety of careers. The school has two locations in central Pennsylvania - Summerdale and Lancaster -- and it also offers comprehensive programs entirely online. Choose from bachelor degree programs, associate degree programs, or certificate programs for job training skills.

Student Appeal
Students are drawn to Central Pennsylvania College for more than the high quality of education offered. Many instructors also work in their related field so students get the latest information to apply to their ensuing career. A fully-trained staff is also on-hand to help students meet all of their academic needs.

Financial
The school offers several programs and a financial aid staff to help students find options for paying or lowering their tuition. Grants, scholarships, and loans are available to eligible students. Regardless of financial status, students are encouraged to submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and contact the Financial Aid Office for more options.

  • Corporate CommunicationsCorporate Communications
    Our degree program prepares and provides students extensive skill building in journalism and public relations, writing, desktop publishing, photography and advertising theory. Effective communicators will be in demand as the world becomes more technologically advanced.
  • Criminal Justice AdministrationCriminal Justice Administration
    Concepts and skills used in law enforcement and administration fields comprise the bulk of this curriculum. Court procedure, civil law, prosecutorial procedures and prevention strategies are the main topics. Upon completion, graduates find positions as police officers, nuclear security, fraud investigators and other criminal justice-related fields.

Students learn the legal and ethical considerations of technology, create working programs and relational databases, and will be able to choose from a variety of electives such as object oriented programming, database administration, and network security.
  • Legal StudiesLegal Studies
    Students wishing to enter pre-law programs and those who already possess an associate degree comprise the bulk of this program. The curriculum focuses on legal research, legal documents, cyber law and criminal procedures, among other important topics in the field. A fully-stocked library on campus allows for easy and comprehensive research.

    Training includes computer applications like Novell, Oracle, Microsoft and Cisco, among others. An internship program is available for eligible students.

    Prepare for employment in the public or private sector, law enforcement, intelligence, or local, state or federal agencies. This academically rigorous program is designed to provide graduates with a comprehensive understanding of the criminal justice system, bodies of law, and specialty subject matter relative to unique career ambitions.
  • Entrepreneurship & Small BusinessEntrepreneurship & Small Business
    Business planning, starting a small business, and creating loan requests for businesses are the main topics covered in this program. Students also learn basic accounting, marketing and management skills as well as training with the latest business software. Graduates can either opt for placement with one of the school's business partners or venture out on their own with the skills they have received.
  • MarketingMarketing
    The Marketing program exposes students to a variety of foundational business marketing models, plans, and strategies. Graduates of this program find entry-level employment as corporate professionals responsible for advertising, market research, and international marketing.
