Overview
This Fort Lauderdale, Florida college was formed as Broward Community College in 1959. The college changed its name to Broward College in 2008, to reflect its ability to issue baccalaureate degrees. The school offers liberal arts based associate's of arts degrees as well as terminal associate's of science programs; many career-focused certificates are also available. The school's bachelor's degree offerings include programs in business and education. Broward College has online degree programs in vocational training and career-specific disciplines, as well as transferrable AA degrees.
