    This program trains students to professionally install, maintain, and repair heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems. In addition, enrollees learn to read blueprints and specifications to install gas, electric, and multiple-fuel heating systems.

  • Medical AssistantMedical Assistant
    Designed to prepare students with interest in a healthcare career, this program covers all aspects of medical assisting, from working with patients and performing medical procedures to running a physician's front office. Students learn to prepare patients for examinations, obtain vital signs, take medical histories; assist with examination, treatments, and office surgeries; perform routine office laboratory procedures and electrocardiograms; assume office responsibilities, and more. Graduates are qualified to work as medical assistants in medical offices, hospitals, ambulatory care clinics, outpatient laboratories, freestanding surgical centers, and occupational medicine clinics.

    Students of this program receive the instruction and training necessary to become a medical biller/coder. Graduates often work as a billing and coding specialist in a hospital, physician's office, nursing home, or physical therapy clinic.

    This is the online version of the Medical Billing and Coding curriculum, available to distance learners without physical campus attendance.
