Arizona State University provides distance learning options to students via ASU Online. Bachelor degrees in Liberal Studies and Interdisciplinary Studies are available entirely online. Students receive the same high-quality instruction as students attending physical campuses through ASU, but through flexible online learning from anywhere.

Arizona State University is known for its excellent academics and the latest innovative learning technologies: including Gmail for ASU and other Google apps, state-of-the art software titles, and the university's Facebook application, available exclusively to ASU students. ASU Online upholds this standard through close collaborations with ASU students across the country and internationally recognized faculty. Student services include academic services, alumni affairs, and eight award-winning libraries. All students have access to 24/7 technical assistance as well as online research assistance.
Financial
Financial Aid is available to those who qualify in the form of grants, loans, scholarships, and outside resources. Fully-online students do not pay out-of-state tuition.

Other career opportunities, depending upon the focus of original AAS study, include positions as health educators, elder services program coordinators, long-term care health and wellness coordinators, and community nutrition aides. Our students will also be uniquely qualified for graduate study in programs like Gerontology, Family Sciences and Health Education.
Graduates with degrees in Film and Media Studies have secured jobs in the entertainment industry as creative executives, producers, managers, and writers. They work in the media arts, story and production development, exhibition, distribution and film, television and video game production. Some students complete graduate studies, and secure jobs in journalism as film and media critics. This program will prepare students for successful careers in business, education and public service. Our graduates will also find a distinct edge in pursuing a graduate degree in fields such as business, history, justice studies, law, and public administration. As part of the School of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, we offer one of the largest and strongest history programs in the country. Students can select either the United States or World as their geographic emphasis area. The curriculum is firmly based in the humanities and involves the critical, historical and comparative study of texts, practices and contexts, as well as the natural and social sciences.
This is an ideal degree program for students with a wide range of intellectual interests, or for students seeking to complete their degree. As part of the School of Letters and Sciences, the BLS program equips students with the knowledge and skills to succeed in the 21st century. They are guided by the principles of strategic partnerships, academic inquiry, entrepreneurship, and service. They enjoy personalized degree advisement with educational, technical and career support. The BIS degree is available to all students in good academic standing with sophomore standing (25 credits or more). Students must complete the online BIS Cyber Workshop prior to meeting with an advisor.
Many Organizational Studies students already have a chosen career field, yet desire a degree that is versatile, flexible and meaningful, and affords the opportunity for continued career development and advancement.
Graduates of our program are equipped to pursue careers in sales, human resource management, public relations, event planning, nonprofit management, and a host of careers in which critical thinking, statistics and research skills, and effective communication skills are central components. Others may choose to pursue graduate degrees in communication or related areas including law and business.
As part of the College of Public Programs, students will have the opportunity to take classes with nationally recognized faculty and learn from a prestigious group of criminal justice professionals. ASU professors, who are experts in subjects such as crime, policing, gangs, fraud, and the court system, design each of our courses. Our students will examine theoretical perspectives on criminal activity and develop their research skills, as well as receive a solid foundation of course work that provides the content, analytical and communication skills required for working in complex criminal justice occupations.

As part of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, our students develop strong research, analytical and critical thinking skills. They are trained to relate the unique development of individuals and families to their diverse social worlds. They hone a unique ability to communicate clearly and listen carefully.
Students receive interdisciplinary training in research methods and theory, and take courses that provide them with a comprehensive understanding of substantive issues within five primary research areas.
Offered by ASU's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the B.S. in political science aims to provide students with the tools and skills necessary to make connections linking theory with real world problems and issues. In addition, the major equips students with the background and skills necessary to gain employment in a relevant profession or to continue their studies in various graduate programs or law school.

The curriculum brings together information, writing, multimedia, and communications technology to prepare students for careers as technical writer/editors, publication managers, information designers, instructional and training developers, and more.
The Technological Entrepreneurship curriculum integrates core technical and science competencies with business disciplines into foundation, intermediate, and advanced courses and projects that integrate theory and practice. The program's objective is to develop entrepreneurial attitudes, knowledge and skills that are essential to the success of any enterprise - public or private, for-profit or nonprofit, new or existing, small or large, global or local.
