Student Appeal
Aiming to go the extra mile to help students succeed in and out of school, Anthem offers career services and academic tutoring at no extra cost. The Career Services Department is dedicated to the goal of helping students land a job after graduation, and has placed graduates with companies all over the United States, including some Fortune 500 entries. The academic tutoring opportunities include one-on-one or group review of study material, supplemental laboratory time, and review classes held prior to certification and licensure exams. The Student Services team also schedules regular events, such as sports, picnics, contests, and other social gatherings.

Financial
Financial assistance is available to those who qualify, in the form of Federal Pell Grants, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants (FSEOG), Subsidized and Unsubsidized Stafford Loans, Federal PLUS Loans, as well as Anthem's own Institutional Loan Program (ILP) that is an alternative or a supplement to federal financial aid programs. Both the Nashville and Memphis campuses of Anthem Career College are accredited by ACICS.

  • Business ManagementBusiness Management
    Developed with advice from experts, this program offers a foundation for understanding how the business world works, including nonprofit organizations, small businesses, international businesses, and government offices. Students learn to identify the conditions, resources and skills necessary to create new business, gather and use financial data and operational information to support decision-making processes, as well as professional and ethical expectations that provide career-focused education and training for entry-level business positions.
  • Dental AssistantDental Assistant
    This program introduces students to dental science, as well as both theory and practical application in the fundamentals of dental radiography. They engage in hands-on training with dental equipment, instruments, and tray set-ups through proper dental health and laboratory procedures. Furthermore, they are taught the basics of operating a dental administrative office. The knowledge gained in this program, combined with work experience, may provide future entry-level opportunities in managing an office.
  • Massage TherapyMassage Therapy
    Enrollees of this program learn anatomy, physiology and pathology of the body in relation to soft-tissue injury and treatment. Under supervision, they practice hands-on training in training in traditional Swedish massage and other modalities such as hydrotherapy, sports massage, deep tissue, chair massage, reflexology, aromatherapy, lymphatic drainage and spa treatments. The coursework also provide study in the use of proper body mechanics for students' own well-being and injury prevention, in addition to sanitation procedures, First Aid, and become Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified. Graduates acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to meet the requirements of an entry-level massage therapist.
  • Medical AssistantMedical Assistant
    Of immense value to those seeking employment as a crucial member of the healthcare team in a physician's office or clinic, this program presents theory and practical application in the fundamentals of medical diagnostic and laboratory techniques. The courses introduce students to the anatomy and physiology of the body systems en route to becoming Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified. They also receive training in veni-puncture, injections, urinalysis, electrocardiography, measurement of vital signs, preparation for physical and specialty exams, as well as basic medical office administrative procedures, enabling graduates to meet the requirements for an entry-level medical assistant.
  • Medical Billing & CodingMedical Billing & Coding
    Students are trained to work with health-related information and the systems used to collect, process, store, retrieve, and communicate information for the support of operations, management, and decision making with a medical facility or related industry. Graduates of this program are equipped with the necessary critical thinking, problem solving, and communication skills for employment as medical billers and coders.
  • ParalegalParalegal
    The objective of this program is to develop qualified paralegals who have a fundamental understanding of the legal system and are eager and competent in assisting legal professionals in delivering quality legal services. The courses lay a solid foundation of legal framework for the students and expose them to civil law and litigation, criminal law and adversarial process, family law and property, transactional law, business law, estate planning and probate, administrative law and alternate dispute resolution. Enrollees also learn to conduct discovery work, gather and organize evidence, do legal research and writing, and use electronic technology to prepare files, store documents, and file them electronically in court.
  • Pharmacy TechnicianPharmacy Technician
    This program readies students to become entry-level pharmacy technicians who assist in the day-to-day activities of the pharmacy by filling prescriptions, assisting customers, ordering medications, and supporting the pharmacist. Students learn to prepare IV, compounded and/or unit-dose medications, ensure the location, quality and quantity of all medications stored in the pharmacy, and review the pharmacy's inventory for expired, recalled, inadequately labeled, or other non-usable drugs. An externship follows the successful completion of all classroom training and consists of 160 clock hours, averaging eight hours a day.
