Located in Hackensack, NJ, the Academy of Massage Therapy (AMT) has been providing professional massage therapy training since 1990 to students throughout New Jersey and New York. The school's Massage Therapy Training Programs can help prepare enrollees to start a career as a licensed or certified massage therapist through comprehensive education, high-level technical training, and professional development from compassion, communication to dedication, flexibility, and creativity. AMT's programs satisfy the educational requirements and standards for many states, as many graduates were able to apply for and obtain licenses in New York, Hawaii, New Mexico, and Florida, among others. The teacher-student ratio for hands-on classes is 12:1, affording enrollees the ample attention they need to develop their skills. Every curriculum accommodates kinesthetic, auditory and visual learners for comprehensive learning. AMT's tuition fees are among the most competitive in the New Jersey, New York and Connecticut tri-state region. Many graduates can work successfully either independently or in spas, gyms, wellness centers, physical therapy offices, hospitals, and corporate environment as massage therapists.
Financial
Federal Financial Aid Programs such as the Federal Pell Grant, Federal Direct Stafford Loan (Subsidized and Unsubsidized), and Federal Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students (PLUS), are available to qualified students. The school also offers these additional financial assistance programs: private student loans, New Jersey Workforce Development, and Zero-Interest or Low-Interest Extended In-House Payment Plans.
